The days I spent dancing around in my grandmother’s kitchen, cloaked in tweed and accessorized with silk gloves, were the first days I knew I wanted a career in fashion. From there, my passion grew. Understanding the reasoning behind print and texture combinations intrigued me, and manipulating two dimensional pieces into three dimensional garments fascinated me. I fell in love with both the creative process and the final products of apparel design. My short term goal is to graduate from Baylor University with honors and to use the skills I’ve gained through my work experience, internships, and coursework to find a job in the fashion industry.
